How to Get to Thessaloniki


Thessaloniki International Airport Makedonia (SKG)
Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki hotel is located near Thessaloniki International Airport – Makedonia (5 minutes by car). Many European airlines and charter companies fly direct from locations such as Paris, London, Berlin, Milan, Moscow, Cyprus, Amsterdam, Cologne, Frankfurt, Istanbul and Budapest. All major airlines from the US, Asia, Europe, Africa, South America and the Middle East fly direct to Athens, with a 40-minute connection to Thessaloniki.

Thessaloniki is also connected with direct flights from major Greek destinations such as Crete (Heraklion and Chania), Rhodes, Santorini and Myconos.


Directions from the Airport to the Hotel


By Car

  • Drive out of the airport to the traffic lights, where there are signs directing left to Thessaloniki and right to Perea. Take the right-hand turn to Perea.
  • After passing the Casino traffic lights, at the next set of traffic lights turn right, and then immediately left, in order to cross over the main road, towards North College University.
  • Continue straight on for 200 metres and you will see the sign for Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki.

By Taxi

  • The fare is approximately EUR 8.50, due to airport supplements (one way).
  • There is a free shuttle bus service available to and from the airport.
  • Airport Meeting Point: at the bus parking area of the airport.
  • Stops in the city: Archeological Museum (White Tower), Aristotelous Square, Bank of Greece.
  • From the city the route starts at the White Tower. (No stops)
